Reminder to all sworn personnel

With the rapid approach of the Fall College Semester all submissions for the Tuition Reimbursement Program are due by September 15, 2013. Please take advantage of this CONTRACTUAL BENEFIT.

A memo must be submitted for each semester to Deputy Commissioner Organizational Services Room 107A Police Headquarters. There is a maximum of two (2) classes per semester.

Students who receive grants are not eligible. It is your responsibility to ensure the office of Deputy Commissioner Organizational Services Room 107A Police Headquarters receives your request.

Memos (received) after the due date will be returned.

Police Department personnel who participated in the rescue recovery or clean-up work after the September 11, 2001 WORLD TRADE CENTER collapse in NYC may be eligible for benefits under the James Zadroga 9/11 Health Compensation Act.
