In summary, Police Payroll tried to reflect your “RETRO EARNINGS” under your Current Earnings on this week’s Payslip so you know how much you will be getting paid in the next pay cycle for your Retro payment. This lead to mass confusion and was executed very poorly.
YOU HAVE NOT GOTTEN PAID YOUR RETRO PAYMENT YET.
The amount under “Gross Retro Earnings” under RETRO EARNINGS is what you are owed BEFORE TAXES.
You will get paid this “Gross Retro Earnings” amount MINUS TAXES in the next pay cycle.
If your gross earnings payment owed is under $500 it will be reflected in your REGULAR paycheck listed as “CBA Payment” on your Payslip.
If your payment owed is over $500 it will be issued as a separate off-cycle payment likely the following week also listed as “CBA Payment.”
Terminated employees will be issued RETO PAYMENTS as paper checks on Friday October 24, 2025.
